Many owners replace a Model S/X yoke or wheel themselves. The work still involves the driver airbag, steering-wheel fastener, electrical connectors, control and trim transfer, and a final centered-function check.
Verify the small horn icon and all selected options before disassembly.
Confirm which center trim and original components must transfer.
Use the exact Tesla service procedure for the vehicle; do not copy a torque value from a different generation.
After installation, test the horn, controls and heat, and confirm that no airbag warning remains.

Does it fit every 2021–2023 Model S or Model X?
No. It fits the earlier touch-horn configuration identified by the small horn icon on the right spoke. A camera icon indicates the later mechanical-horn structure and is not compatible.
Can I install it on a camera-icon wheel by modifying parts?
No. The difference is structural, not cosmetic. Do not cut, adapt or force airbag, horn or steering-wheel components across the two architectures.
Can the product replace either an original yoke or an original round wheel?
Within the compatible touch-horn configuration, yes, but the middle-trim package differs. A round-wheel source receives the matching middle trim cover; a yoke source reuses its original OEM middle trim.
Are the driver airbag and airbag cover included?
No. The driver airbag and airbag cover are not included. Confirm the original touch-horn center structure and required transfer parts before ordering or disassembly.
Does every finish retain steering-wheel heat?
Yes. Premium Leather, Glossy Carbon Fiber and Matte Carbon Fiber are currently offered with “Retain Heating Function: Yes.”
Can I install the round wheel myself?
